French: For Love So Sweet Sterling Silver

This ring is a replica of a handmade ring now in the Museum of London that dates to the
mid-15th century. The original ring was made of gold, and inscribed in relief around the
outside of the band in the period French spelling of the time. It was set with a heart-shaped
red spinel in four prongs. Our adaptation has a created ruby in place of the spinel; both are
red to maintain the symbolism. The sentiment, 'for love so sweet', touches us today as it
must have touched the owner of the original when she received it. The ring is the perfect
reminder of those we love in our life. In sterling silver or gold it is perfect for weddings or
